METAL MERMAID

Os dejo aquí mis últimos tres estilismos, cargados de brillos, reflejos metálicos y prendas vaporosas negras. Un mix de plateado y negro que combina a la perfección y una apuesta segura para llevar estas navidades. Espero que os gusten las fotos.

These are my last three outfits, full of shiny, metallic sheen and flowy black clothes. A mix of silver and black that blends to perfection and a sure bet to bring this Christmas. I hope you have liked the pictures.

Mario Testino

Es una gozada visitar una exposición como la de Todo o Nada de Mario Testino, porque aunque no sean cuadros, ni esculturas, son fotografías tan excepcionales y conmovedoras que llegan a ser obras de arte.

La exposición empieza con fotografías de editorial; modelos totalmente cubiertas por ropa, trajes largos e imponentes; y termina con un estilo totalmente opuesto, retratos desnudos de topmodels.

Son cincuenta y cuatro fotografías que identifican el estilo de "mujer Testino"; como dice él:
   
“Me gustan las mujeres fuertes e independientes. Las que pese a su fuerza no dejan nunca de ser femeninas ni utilizan su belleza como un instrumento. Mujeres con personalidad que son capaces de reflejar sus deseos y los nuestros”.

It is a joy to see an exhibition like Todo o nada by Mario Testino, because although they are not paintings or sculptures, are exceptional and moving pictures becoming works of art. 

The exhibition begins with editorial photographs; models entirely covered by clothing, really stunning evening dresses, and ends with an entirely opposite style, topmodel nude portraits. 

They are fifty-four photographs that identify the style of  the "Testino woman" as he says:

"I like strong, independent women. Which despite its strength never fail to be feminine or use their beauty as a tool. Women with personality who are able to reflect your wishes and ours ". 

RETRO inspiration

La semana pasada diseñé una colección inspirada en la moda retro y esto es parte de mi sketchbook. Me encantan estas fotos, cada una tiene un toque retro, el pelo, el estilo, el entorno, y desde que lo retro está de moda tomo un poco de inspiración para colecciones y mis estilismos. Lo que más me atrae de este estilo es sin duda, las gafas, los peinados y las sandalias; debo decir que tengo debilidad por todas las de MiuMiu.  Last week I designed a colection inspired in fashion retro and this is part of my sketchbook. I love these pictures, everyone has a touch of retro; the hair, the style, the environment, and since retro is back in fashion I pick up some inspiration for colections and my outfits. What I like most about this style are the glasses, hair and sandals, I should say that I have a soft spot for all of MiuMiu.
