Formentera: Hippie Markets and Beach Clubs

Dejando a un lado las playas y el paisaje de Formentera, otros lugares con encanto que tiene esta isla son sus chiringuitos y mercadillos hippies que hay por toda ella. Uno de estos mercadillos se hace en la capital, San Francesc, y el otro en el pueblo de la Mola. Los dos son verdaderamente auténticos y merece la pena dar una vuelta por ellos y disfrutar del ambiente.

Aside from the beaches and landscape of Formentera, other charming places you have this island are its beach clubs, restaurants, and hippie markets. One of these markets is in the capital, San Francisco, and the other one in the town of Mola. Both are truly authentic andworth a spin for them and enjoy the atmosphere.

Sinceramente, esta isla me vuelve loca, es completamente polifacética: es glamourosa y hippie a la vez, moderna y con encanto y sus habitantes van desde los atrevidos italianos que se instalan en la isla en verano, hasta los conservadores nativos, por así decirlo; es una isla que está VIVA.

Honestly, this island drives me crazy, it's completely versatile: it's glamorous and hippie at once, modern and charming, and their inhabitants ranging from the bold Italians who settled in the island in summer, to the conservatives natives, in other words, it's an island with much life.

Formentera: the charming island

Para muchos es un lugar donde pasar las vacaciones, para otros un lugar de relax y descanso donde cargar pilas, para mí es mi paraíso particular desde que tenía ocho años apróximadamente. Tengo un especial cariño a esta isla, así que cada año espero con ansias mi estancia en ella. Para mi familia es casi una tradición compartir unos días del verano todos juntos en este lugar paradisíaco.  

Después de una semana en Formentera he pensado que podía enseñaros algunos lugares especiales de la isla. La verdad es que tengo infinitas fotos de otros años, pero he decidido hacer una selección de este viaje en concreto.

For many people Formentera is a place to vacation, for others a place to relax and rest, for me is my private paradise since I was eight years. I have a special affection for this island, so every year I look forward to my stay there. For my family is almost a tradition to share some summer days together in this paradise.

After a week in Formentera I thought I could show you some special places on the island. The truth is that I have countless photos of other years, but I decided to make a selection of this particular trip.
